I have been praying lately that God would grant me the equipping power of the Holy Spirit to believe Him and His promises more than I believe in my own emotions. I am realizing that is where one of the major battles in my life takes place. Believing my emotions, trusting my emotions is a slippery slope downhill and I want to train with spiritual weapons that are mighty in God for the destruction of these raging emotions. I want to see a mighty fortress of belief in Jesus erected in my heart, the seat of my emotions. I think over time, the raging sea of our emotions will more naturally flow in the currents of His love if we wage this war.

We are praying for you, brother! The Lord Jesus Christ is working through you, and I am blessed by your faithfulness and love for Him and others. "Jesus, I am yours.. Save me."

Your example in suffering and steadfastness in Christ reminds me of Paul's words:

"So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal."

I pray the Lord Jesus will continue to comfort you, just as through you, He has comforted so many. Love to you, bro.
